HyperCreative Co. Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our") develops and publishes Dance Guru (the "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you play Dance Guru on the Meta Quest Platform. By playing the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

2. Information We Collect and Why

To allow you to play Dance Guru and to enable us to repair and improve the game, we collect and process specific data about you.

2.1. Categories of Data

• Identification Data: Your avatar, nickname, or the Meta User ID under which you are registered.

• Technical Data: Information about your device (headset model, OS version, etc.).

• Gameplay Data: Data concerning your use of Dance Guru (when you play, lesson progress, and leaderboard scores).

2.2. Purpose of Processing

We only use the personal data listed above for two specific purposes:

1. To enable the functioning of Dance Guru: We need your Identification Data and Gameplay Data so that the game features work as intended, including saving your progress and displaying Leaderboards.

2. To create statistics for game improvement: We process data for statistical purposes to analyze how the App is used. This involves either purely Technical Data (containing no personal info) or Pseudonymized Data.

   • Note on Pseudonymization: This is highly confidential data to which we assign a special internal number so that nobody except us is able to match the data to your real identity. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in the continuous improvement of the game.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with trusted partners necessary to operate the App:

• Meta Platforms, Inc.: We transmit game scores and achievement data back to Meta to be displayed on system-level scoreboards. (See Meta Privacy Policy)

• Unity Gaming Services: We use Unity for backend services and analytics. They process data on our behalf in accordance with strict confidentiality agreements. (See Unity Privacy Policy)

• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users.

4. Data Retention

We will keep your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above.

• Gameplay Data: Retained for the duration that you play Dance Guru, or until you request deletion of your account.

• Aggregated Data: Most analytics data is kept in aggregated form (where you cannot be identified) and is retained indefinitely for statistical analysis.

5. Your Rights and Data Deletion

In accordance with Meta’s Data Use Policy, you have control over your data.

How to Request Data Deletion: You may request the permanent deletion of your User ID and Game Data stored on our servers at any time.

• Instructions: Please include your Meta Username or User ID in the email body. We will confirm the deletion within 30 days.

Note: Deleting your data will permanently erase your High Scores and Cloud Saves.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately for deletion.
