HyperCreative Games ("we," "us," or "our") develops and publishes Rhythm Pop! (the "Game"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you play Rhythm Pop! on supported platforms (including Meta Quest and Apple devices). By playing the Game, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

2. Information We Collect and Why

To allow you to play Rhythm Pop! and to enable us to repair and improve the Game, we collect and process specific data about you.

2.1. Categories of Data

• Identification Data: Your avatar, nickname, or the unique Platform User ID (e.g., Meta User ID or Apple Game Center ID) under which you are registered.

• Technical Data: Information about your device (model, OS version, etc.) to ensure stability.

• Gameplay Data: Data concerning your use of Rhythm Pop! (when you play, high scores, and leaderboard rankings).

2.2. Purpose of Processing

We only use the personal data listed above for two specific purposes:

1. To enable the functioning of Rhythm Pop!: We need your Identification Data and Gameplay Data so that the Game features work as intended, specifically for Leaderboards and saving progress.

2. To create statistics for game improvement: We process data for statistical purposes to analyze how the Game is used. This involves either purely Technical Data (containing no personal info) or Pseudonymized Data.

   • Note on Pseudonymization: This is highly confidential data to which we assign a special internal number so that nobody except us is able to match the data to your real identity. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in the continuous improvement of the Game.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with trusted platform partners necessary to operate the Game:

• Meta Platforms, Inc.: If playing on Quest, we transmit game scores and achievement data back to Meta to be displayed on system-level scoreboards. (See Meta Privacy Policy)

• Apple Inc.: If playing on iOS/visionOS, we transmit scores and gameplay data to Apple Game Center to enable social features and leaderboards. (See Apple Privacy Policy)

• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users.

4. Data Retention

We will keep your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above.

• Gameplay Data: Retained for the duration that you play Rhythm Pop!, or until you request deletion of your account.

• Customer Support Emails: Retained only as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry.

• Aggregated Data: Most analytics data is kept in aggregated form (where you cannot be identified) and is retained indefinitely for statistical analysis.

5. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have control over your data on all platforms.

How to Request Data Deletion: You may request the permanent deletion of your User ID and Game Data stored on our servers at any time.

• Instructions: Please include your Platform Username (e.g., Meta ID or Apple ID) in the email body. We will confirm the deletion within 30 days.

Note: Deleting your data will permanently erase your High Scores and Cloud Saves.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Game is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately for deletion.
